Message from the Worshipful Master

Hello My Dear Brothers,

I hope this finds you and yours safe and well. As I write this, across our nation, pandemic restrictions are being relaxed in stages and people are starting to be able to visit with loved ones again. This is great news! As we are not out of the woods yet, with new variants and many still unvaccinated, let us continue to keep safety and wellbeing in mind. I hope you and yours enjoy a wonderful celebration for Independence Day! Please remember that should you find yourself in or approaching financial hardship that your Brothers are here to support you. Our Grand Lodge has a fund in place to assist you. All you need do is ask and your request will be treated with the utmost care and confidence.

Our stated meeting is scheduled for 31 July 2021 at 10:00am, in person! Our Junior Warden and Stewards are coordinating breakfast and lunch. I look forward to seeing you all again in a few days and “breaking bread” together! We are working on a way to allow Brothers who are not able to be there, to join us virtually. Updates will be distributed as this is worked out.

Continuing our theme, “Industrious Learning”, we will receive two papers on 31 July 2021. James C. Landerkin, PM will present his paper entitled “The Essenes and their Effect on Christianity and Freemasonry” and Brother Jeremy D. Anspaugh will present his paper entitled, “Dog Days: A Study of Sirius Through Space and Time”.

As a Research Lodge, we have been fortunate that our members and friends yearn in earnest for more light and have been willing to share their respective journeys. It is my ardent hope that their offerings will inspire others to do the same.

Sincerely and fraternally yours in friendship and service,

Raymon W. Bacchus
Worshipful Master
